The foundation awards scholarships for graduates of the polk county nc public schools to attend universities and colleges in pursue of undergraduate degrees. The scholarship funds are paid directly to the education institution for the purposes of tuition and supplies and are not awarded directly to the individual. The foundation awards grants to public charities for the educational enrichment of elementary age public school students, and for general public enrichment.
