The mission of the AANEM is to serve physicians who diagnose and treat patients with disorders of muscles and nerves, extend the knowledge of electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular medicine, and improve the quality of patient care. This is achieved through educational programs and products, certification, and distribution of professional journal (Muscle & Nerve).
