In may, amp the cause hosts community day to benefit children and family-focused nonprofits in the denver metro area. Amp the cause assembled approximately 650 volunteers to complete more than 4,000 of combined volunteer hours of work in one six-hour day. Teams of volunteers disperse to select nonprofits around the metro area to complete multiple facility improvement projects including painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing and much more. Through this annual community service event, amp the cause provides financial freedom to the 40+ nonprofit beneficiaries whose budgets can be used for more critical needs such as staffing and programming. In 2018, community day benefited over 650,000 children and their families whose lives are enriched by the services provided by the nonprofit beneficiaries. With help from volunteers, the total values of labor, supplies and monetary giving came to $525,870 - an amazing number for one single volunteer day. each december, amp the cause brings joy to local children through its annual holidays for kids events. Amp the cause provides the ultimate holiday party, complete with arts and crafts, balloon artists, face painters, a visit from santa, and a backpack full of books and presents for each child. With support from the dtc marriott, embassy suites hotel, corporate partners and volunteers, amp the cause is able to host over 2,100 children from denver and aurora public school districts, ricardo flores magon academy, s. T. E. M. Launch school and the tennyson center for children. denver day of rock is a free one-of-a-kind music festival presented by amp the cause that unites the community in an effort to raise funds and awareness for local children's charities. Each year, the event has continued to grow in size, scale, and impact, welcoming more than 100,000 attendees and reaching new audiences of all ages. Denver day of rock features 25 local, regional, and national performers on five stages located across downtown denver's 16th street mall. The event also boasts a beer garden featuring colorado craft breweries, a variety of food trucks, and family-friendly activities. This unique event is recognized for its emphasis on community giveback and the support provided to children's organizations in the denver metro area. Denver day of rock expands fundraising efforts by offering stage sponsorships and marketing opportunities to local businesses.
