The purpose of the foundation is to raise funds and to make charitable contributions and grants to deserving individuals and other non-profit organizations, including veterans' organizations, educational institutions, and governmental entities which support its goal of promoting the general welfare of marines and their families.

Contributions to other like minded groups to help support and promote the betterment for marines and their families. These grants went to various reserve officers' training corps (rotc), other marine detachments, and scholarships to help support marines, their families, and to provide a positive example to help with recruiting future marines.
