The wyoming professional assistance program is a not-for-profit organization that was established to provide resources and support to include identification, referral and ongoing monitoring of impaired wyoming health professionals in order to preserve the personal health and professional talents of the individual and to maintain the economic viability of the wyoming healh care system.

The organization was established to provide resources and support to include identification, referral and ongoing monitoring of impaired wyoming health professionals in order to preserve the personal health and professional talents of the individual and to maintain the economic viability of the wyoming health care system. During 2014, there were 6 admissions, 6 participants completed, 0 released for noncompliance, 0 given back to their boards due to lack of board renewal, and 4 participants quit. At the end of 2014, the organization was providing service to 21 people.
