The organization is a not-for-profit corporation formed to promote public awareness and education on problem gambling and pathological gambling disorders while maintaining strict neutrality on the issue of legalized gambling.

Public awareness and education-held a statewide conference educating healthcare professionals & gambling establishment operators, billboards & bus advertising, and developed high school curriculum to educate youth helpline-provide 24 hour hotline for people with gambling problems via 800 number (provide resourse outlet for those in need)
