The number of consumer run organizations is few and far between. Albuquerque Drop in Center's Board of Directors is 2/3 consumers as required in our bylaws. Our mission is to provide a safe and positive environment in which people with mental illness and people with mental illness and a co occurring substance abuse, will experience a positive growth in recovery (leading to a more productive and healthier life).
