Development of the bridge of hope community center in beijing, china. We took the opportunity to give 2 days of teacher training to k-12 teachers by giving model lessons of social emotional development in the classrooms. one year of monthly visitation to a remote model school in shanxi province of china, which has been impoverished since the production of coal has been wound down. Each visit consisted of classes for each grade level in social emotional development and social responsibility. The school adopted as a project that care of a local orphanage. The county education district leader wants to adopt the program for 200 schools of the county, so we are recruiting helpers and preparing online follow-up material we published the first 10 kinder/primary school level social emotional learning with original stories and art, also recorded songs which accompany and illustrate the lessons of the stories. The student and teacher books which accompany the stories are in development now, to be able to used in public schools or local community centers.
