Americanhelper exists to provide shelter, a family living environment, life skills training and vocational and academic preparation to adolescents who have been abandoned and living on the streets in the philippines. We fund residential shelters for abandoned children who are too old to be adopted as well as provide funding to mercy house, an orphanage preparing children to be adopted by their forever family. In the most marginalized rural provinces we provide funding for promising students and community centers for learning.
