The ymca's childcare/childwatch programs provide families with reliable childcare in a safe and wholesome environment during working hours and while family members participate in the ymca's programs and activities. the ymca's aquatics/smac programs foster healthy lifestyle choices for children and adults through swimming programs and competitions held in a christian environment. Participants develop physical skills as well as a sense of responsibility and teamwork. the ymca's fitness/wellness programs offer instruction in aerobics, cardio fitness, healthy diet, disease prevention, and other activities designed to enhance the health and longevity of participants of all ages. Activity levels are geared to the physical, mental, and social skill levels of participants.
