To provide emergency financial support for women in berrien county who are striving toward self-sufficiency

The organization provides a modest, one-time financial assistance to women in berrien county who are ineligible for other community resources, but find themselves in need of emergency help. Through contracted services with southwest mi community action agency and volunteers, 100 women strong was able to financially assist 70 women with emergency needs and took 361 calls for assistance. Financial assistance included utilities, rent, mortgage payments, car repairs, and car insurance.
