The purpose for which the corporation is organized is to coordinate, develop and foster community treatment programs for maltreated children and their families, to educate and train the community and certain professionals with respect to child abuse and neglect, and to otherwise prevent cruelty to children within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1954.
