Over 2,500 children are served annually by the head start programs. social support programs make up programs such as senior companion, foster grandparent program, rsvp, application assisters program and liheap. These programs provide services for those in the community that need assistance for various reasons. green river intra-county transit system-this program currently receives medicare funds to assist in medical related transportation. This program also provides transportion for non-medical needs as well. various other programs- the agency provides a wide range of other services mainly targeting those who are elderly, disadvantaged, or in need due to low income.
