The ywca is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Human Services , Young Mens or Womens Associations

Through the partnership with the ywca, known as the marshalltown ymca-ywca, the marshalltown ywca provides services and programs such as their young parents support group, peers actively communicating with teens (pact: a pregnancy prevention program), licensed pre-school, dance education, women's forums, race relations education programs, enrichment programs for older adults and community events that promote safety. Financial assistance is provided to low income women, girls and families so that all may participate in the programs and services of the ywca.
