After school program: provides academic support, spiritual enrichment and growth opportunities for over sixty elementary age children in the community of pittsburgh in southwest atlanta. Beginning in august 2017, the organization is the exclusive on-site after school provider for the kindezi school-gideons. summer camp: the day camp lasts two months and engages over eighty children in experiential learning opportunities that focus on academic readiness, spiritual growth and emotional maturity. The children participate in a vbs type curriculum along with a reading program, art, music, recreation and educational travel. pittsburgh community housing: works to provide housing stability to low income families in the pittsburgh community by purchasing and rehabilitating vacant properties. Houses are leased or purchased, providing affordable housing. Pch invested over $90,000 in capital improvements to rehabilitate 3 houses in the pittsburgh neighborhood during fye 7/31/17. various programs to enrich the children and families of the pittsburgh neighborhood including wellness cooperative and youth programs.
