305 8th street serves a collection of diverse mentally challenged adults through 3 major programs. Our home, which provides 24-hour shelter, transportation & care. Medication, observation & meals-moms provides supportive case management, transportation & meals. 305 live- a day program for adults under our care. Year round, 305 8th street partners with the madison county community to sustain our mission. Most of our residents receive social security disability income but do not qualify for services through the alabama medicaid waiver. As a result, the organization doesn't receive subsidized state or federal funding. Our community sustains our mission by matching funds and donating goods and services.
