The farm overall harvested 8592 pounds of vegetables and provided 1400 paid hours of employment for benevolence residents, totaling $10,045 in earned wages. our residential and reentry program launched, receiving over 25 applications for program admissions and admitting 6 full-time residents. Throughout the year we have provided to the residents 520 days of housing, 1500 meals, 8000 miles of transportation, 236 hours of case management, and 256 hours of capacity building workshops. Residents obtained essential career certifications, were admitted to academic degree programs, obtained scholarships for educational programs, celebrated significant sobriety milestones, successfully completed probation and obtained gainful, career-based employment in their fields of interest. advocacy and outreach efforts included continued participation in nc coalition for women reentrants & their children, alamance county food collaborative, and helping to start an alamance county racial equity association (area).
