Ypsilanti Washtenaw Housing Corporation

Mission

To provide, operate and maintain affordable housing that is decent, safe and sanitary for persons of low and moderate income, as well as elderly, handicapped, and disabled persons, in ypsilanti, michigan and washtenaw county, michigan, and to coordinate such efforts with the ypsilanti housing commission. To educate individuals who are of low and moderate income, and/or especially needy, such as foster parents caring for special children or adults, or seniors, on how to purchase and finance a home, expand a present home, and how to maintain a home. To provide and promote the education of individuals, businesses, and governmental bodies and agencies concerning all aspects of housing acquisition, finance and maintenance.
