As stated in wcmew's bylaws, the foundation's primary purpose includes supporting efforts to develop and maintain a workforce that meets current and future health care needs in wisconsin. Activities in 2017 included hosting a statewide healthcare workforce summit, where stakeholders convened to discuss challenges and opportunities in meeting wisconsin's healthcare workforce needs.
