Apsard is an organization consisting of a broad spectrum of allied mental health experts working to improve the quality of care for patients with adhd through the advancement and dissemination of research, and evidence-based practices. Apsard will fill unmet education and training needs for healthcare professionals helping patients with adhd, from childhood through adulthood.

Annual meeting - the annual apsard conference is an important venue for the presentation of critical information on adhd and related disorders including appropriate diagnosis and assessment, current, as well as emerging, treatment paradigms and updates in science and technology advances. shire grant - apsard serves as the content provider/facilitator for the shire grant. Apsard members provide content while the executive office provides administrative oversight and disperses funds owed to speakers, bloggers and ask the expert content providers from our membership. The goal of the grant is to continue a free continuing medical education (cme) initiative to train primary care practitioners about the nature, diagnosis and treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd) in adults.
