Health

The foundation operates a regional trauma registry, conducts educational activities for the community on injury prevention and healthy living, and conducts conferences and seminars for health care professionals to educate them in better patient care and delivery of care. the foundation administers the northeast central ohio regional extension center grant. The extension center furnishes education, outreach and technical assistance to help medicare and medicaid providers select, implement, and meaningfully use certified electronic health record technology. The regional center will also help providers achieve exchange health information in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and patient preferences.
