Via christi hospital manhattan, inc. (f/k/a mercy regional health center, inc. ) is committed to community health with programs including, but not limited to, diabetes education, nutrition education, fitness education, and lifesaving education. Monthly child safety seat checks in partnership with the manhattan fire department, provides diagnostic services to riley county health department, provides security transportation of patients to state mental hospitals when needed, provides clinical support for flint hills community clinic, serves as a practicum site for student nurses doing clinical rotations for graduation from area colleges and is a partner in the community health needs assessment conducted every 3 years for riley county.
