The kitchen community is creating open-source designs for modular, experiential learning gardens for elementary schools across the country. Learning gardens are an extension of the classroom and an enhancement to the school playground and they are designed to be a place kids want to play in and teachers want to teach in, thereby creating a long-term, positive investment for the school and community.
