The mission of 412 Food Rescue is to prevent perfectly good food from entering the waste stream and redirecting it to people in need.

Our Food Rescue Hero technology, an app that connects food donor organizations such as restaurants, grocery stores and catering companies to nonprofit partners such as pantries, shelters and the Housing Authority which provide meals to people experiencing food insecurity. Volunteer drivers claim food rescue opportunities and transport the food.
