The committee is comprised of representatives of various companies doing business in the solar energy industry that has been formed to explore the founding and establishment of a so-called "clean energy federal credit union" with a mission to: (1) provide financing to promote and support the propagation and democratized, the local and distributed ownership of clean energy technologies; and (2) promote thriftiness, long term savings and democratic wealth building.
