Wjcc schools foundation (foundation) was incorporated in november 2014 to unite residents, businesses and educational leaders to support a shared vision of educational excellence and achievement. Through the foundation's innovating learning grants program, the foundation partners with the community to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning and maximize innovative opportunities for all students in the williamsburg-james city county school district.

Wjcc schools foundation was able to provide grants to teachers of 9 different schools within the wjcc school district and to one non profit that provides pre-school services to at-risk children.
