The advanced mobility academic research center (amarc) is a non-profit organization that focuses on three areas: academic, government, and corporate. The academic research sector is the bridge between government and corporate participation.
Education
In 2017, amarc hosted five federal it symposiums and two technical exchange sessions that drew over 1,000 combined attendees from over 75 government agencies and academic institutions. These groundbreaking events focused on emerging technology topics such as mobility and cloud computing and featured collaboration between government, academia and private industry with the goal of helping improve it efficiency within the federal government. These findings were provided to the government and included best practices, lessons learned and recommendations in the area of mobility and cloud computing. During the year, amarc established an advisory board that includes four members of the federal government and six academicians.
