The foundation hosts and organizes a golf tournament in april every year to raise funds to donate to the usafa endowment fund. For the year ended 4-30-17, 80 people attended the golf tournament and the event raised raised 15,192 of which 11,000 will be donated in the next fiscal year. The 9,000 that was donated this year was raised by the golf tournament in the previous year. The objective of the organization is to foster the professional, business and leadership growth of its members through education and programs. The annual golf tournament is the activity that allows the organization to provide support and education to its members, while raising funds to support charitable giving. The average deduction that participants in the golf tournament could claim was 62. 35.
