To provide and support programs offering educational and/or charitable benefits to the alexandria, va community. To educate the general public in a non-partisan fashion on issues of importance to the well being of the community, including without limitation, community leadership, leadership development, public education, affordable housing, affordable healthcare, business philanthropy, and racial and ethnic harmony and understanding, to offer scholarships to promote education in the above areas, to make grants in support of the above-described activities and to raise funds to support those activities and purpose of the foundation.
