Education

The foundation awarded $68,362 of grants to the wylie independent school district and also provided 33 first-year teachers with supplemental funds through its ground zero project to enhance the quality of education throughout the district. The foundation also organized a back to school fair that provided basic school supplies to approximately 900 disadvantaged wylie isd students and paid $35,250 of scholarships to 28 district alumni attending post-secondary instituions during the current fiscal year.
