Youngstown state university foundation provides assistance in the form of scholarships to approximately 3,600 eligible graduate and undergraduate students at youngstown state university. the foundation also provides grants to youngstown state university for the purpose of lectures and symposiums and for the operations of various departments & centers. the foundation makes pension benefit payments to 2 retired faculty members/beneficiaries of the original youngstown university. Due to a merger the foundation is a successor obligor.
