Medu, the public face of iintime, is a non-profit organization delivering virtual patient cases and assessment tools designed by the nation's leading medical educators to help students acquire much needed critical reasoning, diagnostic and communication skills. In 2017 well over 50,000 students took at least one medu course and completed over 2 million virtual patient cases. Medu courses are available by subscription to institutions and address such core clinical disciplines as family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, radiology, addiction and geriatrics. Additionally, medu continues to fulfill its non profit mission by making freely available cross disciplinary courses in high value care, culture & health, medical home and diagnostic error. The organization continues its commitment teaching clinical reason through its development of content that integrates basic science learning into the clinical training years. Further investments into an exam system as well a new learning management platform ensure improved content delivery and management. Our collaborations with the national medical education organizations support our commitment to delivering the best healthcare education. Our subscribers ensure we are able to be independent and our consortium of volunteer educators share their passion and wisdom through collaborative development and research into innovative and high impact virtual teaching and learning methods.
