The aurora public schools foundation (apsf) cultivates community investments for aurora public schools projects that drive innovation and excellence for more than 39,000 students, 5,000 teachers and staff in 64 schools. Apsf builds long-lasting partnerships by bringing together teachers and staff, business people, parents, alumni and the broader community. Apsf serves a diverse student population consisting of: - students coming from 131 different countries - students speaking 150 different languages - 36% of students speak english as a second language, of which 82% speak spanish as their primary language - 71% of students receive free or reduced lunches - 10% of students attend special educational programs apsf has administered hundreds of scholarships to aurora public schools students attending colleges and vocational schools nationwide since its' 1987 inception.
