ACOSA--The Association for Community Organization and Social Administration--is a membership organization for community organizers, planners, activists, human service administrators, policy practice specialists, students, and professors. ACOSA members represent the field of social work, as well as a variety of other disciplines and professional fields. We sponsor the highly respected and significant Journal of Community Practice, as a way of building and disseminating macro practice knowledge. Membership in ACOSA provides up-to-date information for teaching, research, and practice in areas such as community organization, social administration, community development, planning, social change, coalitions, advocacy, and community building.
