Learning center and preschool: Yspaniola provides supplementary literacy instruction for children between the ages of 4 and 16 in Batey Libertad. University Scholarships: Yspaniola provides full scholarships for high achieving young adults from batey libertad. Experiential and Service-Learning and Internships: service-learning trips give participants week-long immersion experiences in the Dominican Republic to learn about the situation facing Dominicans of Haitian descent. Interns can spend 2 - 3 months living and working in Batey Libertad to support and learn about Yspaniola's work.
