To assist schools in raising student achievement and closing gaps by 1) creating an organization structure that promotes collegiality, self study, and continuous improvement, 2) developing teacher-leaders among the staff implementing a vision-based and data-driven improvment.

Asai provides services that support schools and community leadership teams in their efforts to raise student achievement and close achievement gaps. Asai employees teach local steering teams how to 1) create an organizational structure, 2) collect student data, 3) analyze student data and identify achievement goals, 4) analyze student data to identify root causes, and 5) select and implement targeted strategies. Asai provides leadership teams with all resources needed to facilitate this process and occasionally with small grants.
