The mission of arapahoe library friends foundation is to promote community involvement in and with the activities of the arapahoe libraries, and to raise funds that contribute to the resources, support and services they provide.

The arapahoe library friends foundation promotes community involvement in and with the activities from the district, raises funds to contribute to the resources and services, and supports initiatives aimed at extending and/or improving the arapahoe libraries. This includes several book sales at various branches from donated books, along with providing a grant to arapahoe library district.
