Mission

The purpose of 20 liters is to create awareness, activists and funding to provide clean water through simple cost effective solutions, especially for those living in poverty.

Programs

Our clean water initiatives between july 2016 and june 2017 focused on the three sectors of juru, gashora and rilima in rwanda, africa. In this time period, we impacted at least 22,915 people with access to clean water through filtration systems and rainwater harvesting. In juru we distributed 1,287 household filters, 9 community filters at schools and health clinics and 11 rainwater harvest systems at local churches. In gashora and rilima we distributed 836 household filters, 3 community filters and 4 rainwater harvesting systems. We accomplished these things by engaging 27 churches, 14 schools, 3 health clinics and 58 volunteers in rwanda. We also engaged 5 churches, 3 schools and 160 volunteers in the united states.
