January 2014 - cultural activity for chinese new yearwe organized class activity at duveneck elementary school in palo alto, introducing kids to chinese culture and chinese new year. It includes both presentation, display of chinese artifacts, and hands on activity like crafts and trying on traditional clothing, and trying out chinese food. Through this activity, we are giving kids exposure to different culture and teach diversity and unity from young age summer 2014 - the lego wedo building and programming playgroupswe organized various play groups among local kids, using lego education wedo construction set. Its an set that introduces young students to robotics using lego education wedo software and activity pack. Kids spend time building lego models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and get the model to perform different movements/sounds. This activity is meant to introduce and develop their skills in science, technology, and engineering.
