Group Therapy - ACH delivers 19 hours of Therapeutic Group Childcare to each child weekly, teaching children the skills they need to control their emotions and self-regulate their reactions. Individual Therapy - Each child receives one hour of individual play with a licensed individual social worker therapy each week so they can focus on the goals outlined in their individual plan of care. Family Therapy/Home Visitation - Licensed Child and Family Therapists conduct regular Family Therapy sessions to set goals, reinforce methods taught at our center, improve family interactions, develop positive parenting skills, and improve the family’s overall mental health. 4K Program – ACH teamed with SC First Steps for our new 4K Program, adding a traditional academic component and further ensuring success when our children transition to a typical public-school classroom. Extended Day Program – ACH offers childcare after Group Therapy hours. Children can remain at our center where caregivers reinforce behavior and communication strategies taught during group therapy. Nutrition - Most of our families live below the poverty level, so ACH serves each child two hot, nutritious Department of Social Services approved meals each day they attend our treatment center. Transportation - ACH offers each child in attendance round-trip bus transportation to and from our treatment center each day we offer services.
