Abused Adult Resource Center

Mission

The abused adult resource center is a nonproft corporation organized to provide direct services and assistance to abused spouses and their children and to increase community awareness concerning the seriousness and pervasiveness of domestic violence.

Programs

To provide a safe shelter, that is used by an average of 25 clients per day. This includes an average of 12 women and 13 kids. to provide crisis intervention, criminal justice programs, and law enforcement advocates. During 2014, served over 1,000 new clients, 19,000 total clients with over 1,000 children receiving services. to provide thrift/gift store to train clients. other program services include the sexual assault program and the sexual assault nurse examiner (sane) program.
