WEDO's programs focus on: 1. Advocacy and Influence: Engaging in policy processes to ensure policy and actions reflect women’s human rights and sustainable development 2. Capacity Building and Training: Building capacity and facilitating space for women’s political voice, power and influence, at local, national and international levels 3. Knowledge Production and Outreach : Building and maintaining a knowledge base related to gender equality, women’s rights, sustainable development and environmental issues, ensuring targeted and effective outreach and information sharing. Across issues such as: climate change policy, climate finance, sustainable development goals, a just transition to low carbon societies, peace & conflict, resilience and livelihoods, and sustainable cities & transport.
