The association is a not for profit that employs 75 employees, 43 of whom are legally blind at all levels of the organization. The business division/contract service division employs 56 individuals, 40 of whom are blind. Quality employment for blind individuals is created in roll stock paper conversion, switchboard, assembly, and related jobs. the health and rehabilitation services division provides a wide range of independent living and employment services for people of all ages with a vision disability. The association register listed 1,759 individuals with a vision disability in the current fiscal year.
