Mission

The YWCA of NOC was founded in 1927 and serves the seven cities of North Orange County--Yorba Linda, Placentia, Brea, Fullerton, Anaheim, Buena Park and La Habra. For more than 70 years the organization helped women and young girls reach their potential and lead productive lives. Our programs and efforts are all in response to our motto, "shedding light on women's lives."

Programs

Neighborhood Link to Breast Cancer Prevention, Youth Employment Services for at-risk, low income youth 14-22 years, College Scholarships for adult re-entry women to attend Fullerton College or CSUF, Prom Project for girls to attend their prom with dignity, pride and self-confidence, YWSafe Self Defense Program for girls using public transportation for work or school.
