Alabama arise members advocated for the successful passage of a bill to end alabama's judicial override policy. Arise worked on many other structural causes of poverty: health care, housing, employment and tax policy. Arise worked tirelessly to help beat back plans to slash medicaid and repeal the affordable care act.
