Youth-reach Houston Inc

Mission

Youth-Reach Houston was formed in 1985 after a search was launched to find a suitable residential treatment program for the indigent young people of Houston. The kids that were being encountered had little to no family support, lived mainly on the streets, and had no capacity to afford the expensive programs that were easily found. While looking for an alternative to a life on the streets, Curt Williams, founder of Youth-Reach Houston, began taking these kids into his own home. It soon became apparent that there was no program that held to Christian values, was long term, worked with the age range he was finding, and did not charge a fee. Therefore, Youth-Reach Houston was born.
