Youth Villages

Mission

Youth Villages is a leading national nonprofit providing effective local solutions to help America’s most emotionally and behaviorally troubled youth and their families live successfully.

Causes

Children & Youth , Children & Youth Services

Programs

It serves youth ages 6–22, many of whom have cycled in and out of foster care and/or are involved in the juvenile justice system with a continuum of evidence-based in-home and residential programs. These services are grounded in a proprietary approach called Evidentiary Family Restoration™, which has been shown to produce lasting results for young people with success rates twice that of traditional services at one-third of its cost. Youth Villages sets young people on a path to healthy adulthood by boosting their academic achievement, helping them avoid criminal activity, and assisting them in securing employment.
