To provide middle school students stem aviation experiences to encourage further aviation-related educational/career choices and stem studies. Air camp also offers a teachers air camp program that is intended for teachers focused on stem education.

Air camp is a week long summer camp adventure in aviation and aeronautics for middle school students. The purpose of air camp is to inspire students to new heights of scholarship, leadership and citizenship, as they experience the wonders of flight and study the science, technology, engineering and math (stem) of aviation and aeronautics. Air camp summer camp allows students to meet scientists at wright-patterson air force base, design an aircraft, plan a humanitarian rescue mission, fly a remotely piloted air vehicle, and fly an airplane from the pilot's seat. Air camp conducts three (3) week long sessions of summer camp for up to 44 middle school students per session.
