Grant wishes of a young person who has been disagnosed with a life threatening disorder. The goal for each wish is to create a memorable experience for the wish child and their family away from the hospital, doctor visits and to just be a family again. A supporting program includes the dayton vectren air show, which allows all wish kids and their families to enjoy the air show on the day prior to opening to the general public. Another supporting program includes the annual holiday open house, which allows all wish kids and their families to kick off the holiday season by meeting santa claus, receiving a gift, doing arts and crafts, and seeing some of their favorite characters.
