The youth actors academy of lincoln is dedicated to providing high quality theater instruction to the youth of our community without regard to ability, experience, or economic circumstances.

Children & Youth , Youth Development Programs

Classes including improv, as well as stage combat and show choir summer camps. These classes are offered throughout the year and deal with theater instruction in one area of study. One need based scholarship was awarded for a total of $150. 35 youth were served in 62 hours of instruction. shows including winter break and spring break performance workshops, the little mermaid jr, alice in wonderland, the secret garden, aesops foibles, music man jr, midsummer nights dream, hard knock high school, fiddler on the roof, wizard of oz. These shows are fully produced and costumed for an audience in order to teach youth to present a theater production in a professional manner. 19 need based scholarships were awarded for a total of $4950. 208 youth were served for a total of 613 hours of instruction. free community initiatives children's chorus this chorus is offered for no tuition cost to community youth and is taught by a middle school music specialist. It meets once per week during the fall and spring semesters. 13 children are enrolled in each session for 8 hours of instruction. Performances are given at the theater and in the community.
